Breast enlargement from liposuction
A women's breasts can naturally enlarge from one to two cup sizes following the efficient removal of fat in other areas of the body using tumescent liposuction. Eric Finzi, MD, PhD, a board certified dermatologist surgeon with a specialty in tumescent liposuction, conducted the study after a number of patients returned to his office for their post-operative cosmetic surgery exam with the unexpected result from the body liposculpture procedure. Significant breast enhancement occurred in 43% of female patients who underwent one or more tumescent liposuction surgeries. Heavier patients who received more total fat removal were more likely to experience breast enlargement. . |

Cosmetic Surgeon Presents "Scar less Facelift"
Many Americans fear the potential scarring and other visible signs of cosmetic facial surgery. The "Scar less" facelift procedure uses hidden incisions behind the hairline and inside the mouth-eliminating many of the telltale signs of more facial surgery techniques, such as shortened sideburns, step-offs in the hairline, pixie ears, and wide, visible scars behind the ears. |

Average cost of breast implants $2,047-3,000
Breast augmentation and breast implants are one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures. Women have been able to achieve changes in their figure (breast enlargement) through placement of breast implants, that otherwise would have been impossible. Misconceptions about breast implants are that breast augmentation surgery will improve nipple asymmetry, move he breasts closer together, lift droopy breasts, and remove stretch marks. Droopy breasts, are corrected by a breast lift (mastopexy). Breast implants are not free of problems, in order to determine whether breast augmentation surgery is for you, you must determine the risks and the benefits of this type of cosmetic surgery. |

“Gummy Bear” Breast Implants Provide Natural Feel, and Potential Safety Benefits
One of the most compelling benefits of the new cohesive implants is their unique ability to shape the breast. Form stable cohesive gel implants (cited as the “new” silicone implants) are such a hot topic in the breast augmentation world today because of their promising ability to provide optimal shape, deter leakage and minimize complications. |
The average cost of a Breast Augmentation $3,857
When inspecting your breasts, and you see your nipples have drooped to the level of the crease beneath your breast, then you have mild breast droop, known as Grade I ptosis. If they have drooped below this line, then you have moderate droop, known as grade II ptosis. If they are pointing toward your shoes, then you have severe droop, known as grade III ptosis). To fix saggy breasts you must have a breast lift. Breast implants will not fix saggy breasts.
Scars are the greatest drawback of a breast lift. However even those which are initially unfavorable, fade over time. The reality is that for this time you will be exchanging one cosmetic breast problem (saggy breasts) for another cosmetic breast problem (scars). Women with moderate or severely saggy breasts do find this exchange worthwhile. So it remains a personal decision, and you must consider the trade off. |

However, a board that does not have this status can
a surgeon be recognized in California, unless they demonstrate that their training program is equivalent in scope, content, and duration to an ABMS board. The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS), is currently not recognized as equivalent to an ABMS board. |

Cataracts and Cataract Surgery
Cataracts are a clouding of the eye's natural lens, which lies behind the iris and the pupil. Like a camera lens, the retina focuses light onto the retina at the back of the eye. The lens also adjusts the eye's focus, letting you see things clearly both far away, and up close. The lens which is largely made of water and protein, is arranged to keep the lens clear and let light pass through it. Cataract surgery may be necessary as we age, because some of these proteins clump together and form a small cloud in the area of the lens. This is a cataract, and over time, it can grow larger and cloud more of the lens, making it harder to see. Cataract surgery is then needed to make the correction.

Turning Back The Hands of Time You've heard the expression "turning back the hands of time," well this may have literal meaning as more people begin to see their hands as a telltale sign of aging. Some women go to extremes to hide their hands because of lose
, sun damaged skin, age spots, and disturbing prominent veins. Laser ablation ? a new and relatively quick procedure ? can now ease their minds and erase unwanted hand veins, according to a study presented today at the
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) Plastic Surgery 2005 conference in Chicago.

Jolie, Pitt have most enviable bodies: survey |
|
BEIJING, July 13 -- More than half of British women aged 25 to 45 intend to have
cosmetic surgery and most would choose to resemble Angelina Jolie, a study has
found. In the study, commissioned by women's magazine Grazia, 54% of the
respondents said they "will have cosmetic surgery." 11% of the 1000 women
questioned already had such surgery as nose jobs and breast enlargements.
Moreover, the study found Brad Pitt - the new man in Angelina's life - would
be women's favorite if their men also had cosmetic surgery. Asked to
create the perfect female body, women chose Catherine Zeta Jones' eyes, Kylie
Minogue's nose, Julia Roberts' mouth, Jennifer Aniston's hair, Angelina Jolie's
face, Kelly Brook's breasts, Victoria Beckham's legs and Beyonce's bottom.
