BOTOX® has enjoyed growing popularity over the last few years as an
effective treatment for lateral crow's feet and frown lines. Injected
through the skin into the underlying muscle,
BOTOX® works by paralyzing
the muscles responsible for causing the wrinkles. Since the muscle
can't continue to function, lines soften and in some instances, are
eliminated.
BOTOX® is not permanent, lasting anywhere between four to
six months. It is often used in conjunction with other skin refinishing
treatments for maximum results.
